Situated between Albania and Serbia, the multi cultural country of Kosovo tells a complicated story of collapsed Yugoslavia. This contested country, not recognized by all members of the UN, is divided between nations and controlled (some will say, protected) by NATO forces.  Kosovo's police system, for example, keeps its officers local so that their heritage will be the same as that of the people they serve.  And yet, for all its divisions, Kosovo boasts magnificent mountains full of culture and history.

Our photography and political tours to Kosovo takes the traveler into the story of this beautiful country with its contested status, complex government system, and rich culture.
